My client works within residential projects and are looking to take on an Architectural Assistant on a permanent basis in Surrey. This is a great opportunity to work for a young, creative and passionate architectural and interior team.

The Architectural Assistant will ideally have the following attributes:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Architecture
RIBA Part II
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communication and presentation skills are a must
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites and AutoCAD
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactivity and taking initiative in response to direction or instruction
Freehand sketching and model making abilities are also valued highly
Be motivated and ambitious to grow in the company
Be willing to learn, improve and develop
Be engaged and inquisitive with an eye for detail and visual quality
passionate about all aspects of architecture and design
Be able to demonstrate a flair for design.
Be keen to take ownership of your own projectThe Architectural Assistant role will involve:

Work collaboratively with the architectural and urban design teams
Be proactive and interested in the design development of the project, assisting in producing design options to respond to the brief
Prepare, develop and edit the drawings, models, images, and other documents relating to the design under the guidance of project lead
Be able to create technical drawings and produce 3D visuals
Be able to communicate through hand sketches to express and develop an idea with others
familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools
excellent written and spoken English skills
