An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager to join a regional build contractor based in Guildford, working on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the bid process from start to finish, working on diverse and interesting projects ranging from traditional refurbishment projects to complex new build design and build, from £1M-£20M.
* Lead, manage and contribute significantly to bids.
* Working as part of a pre-construction team delivering high quality bids to customers.
* Working with estimators, the wider delivery team and our supply chain to ensure compliance against Employers Requirements.
* Preparing comprehensive optimum tender programmes. logistics plans and qualitative responses.
* Identifying opportunities within the tender information that will provide a competitive advantage.
Candidate Criteria:
* Detailed understanding of traditional and alternative construction methods.
* Demonstrable experience of successfully bidding and participating within regional and/or national frameworks.
* Experience in using ASTA (preferred)
