We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Ellesmere Port. This is an exciting time to join this growing business that that supply and hire great quality products to the construction industry. Due to ongoing growth, this is a newly created position to develop both existing and new customers, build a rapport with them and generate sales. The successful applicant will have a substantial database of new and existing businesses to approach. There is limitless potential in the role to develop into a team leader role in the future.

Key duties and responsibilities…

* Telephone prospects to promote the Company’s services and products

* Follow up and qualify leads from the CRM system

* Explain the products and services offered delivering a scripted sales pitch

* Gather information and verify details

* Answer product related customer questions

* Book customer visits and trial dates

* Ensure the CRM database is updated and managed

* Support the sales team in following up leads


* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with potential customers

* Interpersonal skills for developing relationships with prospects

* Drive to motivate yourself and set your own goals

* Initiative and confidence to start things from scratch

* Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM management

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30am (office based)


* Salary of £26,000 – £29,000 per annum

* + uncapped commission

* Free lunch on a Friday
