Business Development manager – London
Salary – Up to £50,000 depending on experience
30% Bonus – potential to earn up to £100k

Each of our 33 branches operates on a local level with local personnel and management teams to provide our clients with a tailored service suited to their business, customers and local community. Our branch teams and clients are supported by the senior managers, systems and processes and technical resources our national organisation provides.
Our branches provide the following services: Cyclical Decoration and Repairs, Roofing Replacements, Planned Maintenance Projects, Void Preparation, Passive Fire Upgrades, Soft Flooring, Reactive Repairs, New House Decoration, New Build Decorating and Flooring.
Our client are looking for a Business Development manager, with a proven track record of business growth. Who isn’t afraid of hard work and is driven by rewards, with a professional yet approachable manner, who has experience working within the property services or construction industry – this is key!
This role will all be about building relationships, making contacts with estate agents and interior designers to gain knowledge into the industry to find out when new projects are coming out – client facing and relationship building is the most important thing in this role. You will be good at selling an experience as well as a "product" you will have to be able to get people to buy in to you as a person and the company at hand.
This role will also be building relationships with local councils, schools, universities, hospitals – so contacts within these fields is desirable.
You will be excellent at time management and be able to manage your time and skills effectively to obtain new clients.
You will have an approachable manner, be confident and communicative – being able to adapt and talk to people with ease. You will have drive to succeed! Working knowledge of a CRM system would be a bonus but not essential – training given.
Using your business acumen, visiting businesses and building relationships with estate agents and interior designers. There would be element of engagement , face to face and via the telephone, lots of warm leads! Networking is key!
This will be a mix of field working and office working.
