Simon Acres Recruitment are proud to represent for a leading KBB manufacturer who are looking for a Business Development Manager within their Retail New Business Team covering the Midlands/South West area. The ideal candidate must live along the M5 corridor between Birmingham and Bristol.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
Developing new business with targeted account prospects (Kitchen/Bedroom/Bathroom specialists and Builders/Timber/Plumbers Merchants)
Co-ordinating new business showroom displays, and initial account set up in preparation for handover to the region
Identifying new business opportunities with the regional team
Achieving the sales and margin targets for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms for the territory
Account management, including maintaining accurate records on potential customers
You must have:
Knowledge of the industry, company’s terms of trading, range of manufactured and bought out products and all major competitors
Excellent time management skills
The confidence and ability to make and take decisions
A proven track record in Sales
A full UK driving licence
Be able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
Be personally presentable at all times
Be prepared to travel both within the region and to HO with regular overnight stays
Enjoy building and developing new relationships and opportunities
