A leading M&E Service and Maintenance provider are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their highly successful Pre-Contract team. Part of a large group of companies they are currently experiencing exceptional growth.
They are a leading player within the industry and work within a number of sectors within London and the South East including residential, commercial, leisure and retail.
The ideal candidate will be a current Business Development Manager within Hard Services Maintenance, be commercially aware and be able to communicate highly effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Seek & build new / existing strong client relationships. Develop and enhance existing and new networks – consult with customer(s) and site staff, providing excellent customer-centric relationships
* Commercial ownership, ensuring commercial viability of contract tenders. Provide safeguards in the format of procurement / pricing policy workshops with your peers.
* Track the status of opportunities’, presenting monthly review of qualitive & quantitative data on the progress of accurate sales forecasts securing profitable maintenance projects
* Deliver professionally presented work, ensuring excellent grammar, spelling and appreciation of the latest best practice sales & marketing techniques
* In-depth knowledge of upcoming industry tender opportunities, imminent contract wins and live projects
* Ensure sales documentation is fit for purpose
* Diplomatic, with the ability to empower team members to deliver excellent customer experience, enhancing opportunities of repeat work / invitations
* Support the business insight and knowledge, providing value creation opportunities
* Garner Key Stakeholder support, developing professional relationships
Person Specification
* Excellent Service sales experience & knowledge in the installation and ongoing servicing of HVAC, Chillers and M&E assets
* Excellent verbal & presentation skills
* Commercially Aware
* Organised / resourceful
* Established client network
* Good knowledge and use of Social Media platforms, PowerPoint, Word & Excel
