Reporting to the senior quantity surveyor the successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of resources for residential construction projects. You should have a relevant qualification in a construction purchasing discipline and previous experience working within the house building industry.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
* receiving and collating information from drawings, specifications and programme requirements
* liaising with the construction manager, detailing and finalising schedule/programme requirements
* preparing schedules and quantities for materials and plant
* establishing, preparing, receiving quotation enquires and order placement
The appointed candidate is expected to be able to work on an independent basis however, have the ability to operate within a team dynamic. You should be computer literate and have excellent communication skills
