A long established, family run contractor in Luton, Bedfordshire have an opportunity for an experienced Carpenter to join their team

They will offer you:

Local work: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire

Variety:

You will be joining a team, working on a framework for Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire police
You will also be working on school work, industrial, and various general contracting schemes
On occasions you will work on site with the company's site team

Ongoing training – our client place a lot of emphasis on upskilling staff

Opportunity to progress (they currently have 3 Site Managers who joined them as Carpenters

Role and Requirements

The role will form part of a close-knit team and will cover all types of projects including general refurbishment works.
You will be working throughout Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire

Experience- Carpenter

The successful candidates(s) will:

·Be able to demonstrate a high level of experience in all aspects of carpentry
·Work well on your own or as part of a team
·Be well presented and have excellent customer service skills
·Be used to working in busy occupied environments

Preferable but not essential:

·Skills and/or experience in other disciplines such as fencing, plastering, brickwork, plumbing, wall tiling etc
·Experience of running small projects/acting as a working foreman

Essential

·A full, clean driving licence
·A current and relevant CSCS card that is relevant to your trade
·Due to the nature of the places you will be working in, you will be DBS and police checked so must have a clean record
