Job Title – Cherry Picker Operative

Location – Bury St Edmunds / Thetford / Mildenhall

Salary – £23,000 per annum. 

Our client, a large housing association responsible for the repairs and maintenance of 1000s of domestic properties across East Anglia is seeking a Cherry Picker Operative to work for them on a full time basis.

The role will be a fluid and flexible position providing varying levels of support across different aspects of the work streams. The Cherry picker operator role will require an individual with a “can do attitude” to embrace and accommodate a wide range of tasks. The anticipated high demand of this specialist equipment will require the operator to be flexible in working across all geographic areas of the business. As the role will predominantly be based around working at height (WAH) the operator will need to work at height and be fully committed to take on additional training regarding WAH policy and practice.

 They will need:

Experience of delivery driving in East Anglia.
To be flexible in undertaking various tasks
To be flexible as may be working across all geographic areas of the business
Have a full driving Licence.
Good at route planning.
Have good knowledge of workplace Health and Safety.
Be IPAF Trained (Cherry Picker Licence) is desirable

This role is based in the west of the region covering Mildenhall, Thetford and surrounding areas but due to demand may be working across all geographic areas of the business.

Hours per week : 42.5 (flexible working considered).

Company vehicle, uniform and equipment will be provided.
