Our client is a leading interiors commercial contractor based in Hampshire specialising in Commercial Fit Outs and Refurbishments working within the Education, Offices, Healthcare, Government, Leisure, Retail and Industrial.
With a growing order book not only from retained but new clients, our client is seeking a regionally based Contracts Manager with a proven track record in interiors.
Typical qualities will include;
* Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to oversee and deliver project completions whilst developing key client relationships to optimise financial and commercial opportunities.
* Overseeing contract delivery to ensure that projects are fully compliant with Health and Safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with company policies and procedures.
* Engaging with clients and their representatives to develop long lasting partnerships.
* Monitoring project progress against the works programme and manage the impact of additional work or delays.
* Leading the progress of construction to ensure the finished works are delivered to the agreed specification.
* Ensuring the most effective and efficient use of resources on the contract.
* Managing and monitoring all works undertaken by appointed employees, sub-contractors and/or labour only contractors to the project.
* Managing the material and plant requirements, requisitions, and orders on site, liaising with Site Manager, Procurement Manager and Quantity Surveyor.
* Working alongside the Procurement Manager with the scheduling of lead times and material availability, producing a procurement schedule for both Material and Subcontract orders in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor.
You need to have;
* Minimum five years’ experience at Contract Manager level working either interiors or a main contractor.
* SMSTS, First Aid, NVQ level 4.
* Able to supply working references either from previous employment or an end user
