Contracts Manager
Manchester
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the expanding team of our well-established clients, situated in the Greater Manchester area.
Ideally you will have a strong background in commercial refurbishments, delivering projects in the education, health and accomodation sectors.
The role:
* You will be a key decision maker in projects
* Ensuring all duties are executed and completed on time
* You will negotiate contracts, coordinate workers and plan and direct as and when necessary
* Overseeing project designs
* Creating and maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers and customers
* Researching, gathering, and presenting information to clients and/or stakeholders regarding contracts
* Overseeing and/or managing the ordering of materials and supplies
* Preparing budgets and ensuring that the completion and production of construction projects fall within budget
* Devising ways by which budgets can be minimized
* Supervising staff and workers and working collaboratively with them when required.
You will have:
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of different people – subcontractors, contractors, architects and suppliers
* Excellent problem solving skills – you will be required to deal with complex and detailed projects
* Strong IT skills
