Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: upto £70,000 + Car Allowance and package

A leading social housing developer are currently in the market for a Contracts Manager.

My client has a number of new developments is starting across the Northwest and has a brilliant management team on board. Like minded people who have a passion for building. They are now looking to add an experienced Contracts Manager with previous experience working on new build social housing or open market projects.

You will be enthusiastic, receptive and open to new ideas. You will be confident in your ability as a Contracts Manager with a proven track record.

You will be joining a tight knit team who get on well during work hours but also enjoy socialising outside of work.

My client is offering up to £70,000 plus car allowance and a rewarding bonus scheme for the successful candidate.

Your skills knowledge and experience required include but not limited to:

New build residential experience is essential for the role

Previous experience working for national house builders is preferable

Strong communication skills

Ability to motivate and support staff

Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel

Meeting deadlines



Attention to detail

Able to embrace training

Qualifications and training – essential

CSCS Card at Site Manager Level

Valid SMSTS certificate

Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Qualifications and training – desirable

NVQ Level 3-4, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or similar

Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate


Trade experience and site experience preferable

Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation

Special requirements

Current full UK driving licence
