Contracts Manager – High End Residential.

£80,000-£90,000 + benefits.

My client is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager for one of their high end residential developments based in Highgate, Greater London. The project is RC frame 47 apartments and plant room basement with communal roof terraces on the 5th & 7th floor levels. It has not started on site yet so the candidate will be involved right from the start. Candidates may also be also asked to manage a project currently in planning that consists of 36 apartments above a commercial space in Kingston, a proven track record managing this type of project is essential.

The candidate will need the following:

* A proven track record of running larger multi-unit projects with values of around £10 to £15 million in value, that are residential with an element of commercial.

* Experience of working with a developer, together with liaising with the technical designer and QS to ensure the project is delivered to specification, on time and within budget.

* Good communication skills, both written and spoken.

* A working knowledge of contracts.

* Be adept at problem solving.

* Be able to build and maintain good working relationships with sub-contractors.

* Have good leadership skills.

* Have a good attention to detail.

* Be used to hitting tight deadlines where schemes are sold off plan.

* Be commercially aware.

This is a permanent position with a salary of up to £90K. My client would be open to see CV’s with a salary expectation slightly above this so that they can make a commercial decision if it is the right candidate.

Following completion of a 3 month probation period the successful candidate will be offered inclusion into their health insurance scheme, currently with Vitality. They also operate a work place pension scheme.
