Electrical Project Engineer

A brand new opportunity has arisen for an experience Electrical Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 Contractor in the Yorkshire area. Within this role you will be reporting into a Contracts Manager whilst being responsible for the management of individual schemes predominantely over clean water sites. Projects include works focussing on improvements such as Water Treatment Plans and pumping stations.

Contract: Freelance

Rate: £340 – £350 per day

Key Responsibilities

Attend site visits and meetings as and when required
Liaise closely with clients engineering and operational staff to ensure KPI's are met
Participate in internal and external review and progression meetings
Outline electrical engineering from inception to completion of schemes
Collaborative planning
Ascertain detailed design and project requirements/solutions
Be able to prepare esitmates and quotations
Confidently manage site safety, environment and health issues
Procurement of plant, materials and specialist subcontractors
Understanding the responsibility for profit and loss on contracts and packages undertaken
Collate final contractual documentation including "As builts", test sheets etcAbout You:

Strong Technical understanding of Water and Waste water treatment
Commercial and contractual awareness
Industry applicable ONC/B.Eng/ HNC or NVQ Equivalent
Significant electrical experience
HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline
SMSTS qualification
