As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will need to have a relevant Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying degree with the ambition to progress both professionally and academically with CIOB or RICS.
You will be invested in individually to help you develop and gain all the skills you need to become highly successful and reap the rewards that hard work brings. They are looking to expand and develop their Commercial Division due to multiple project wins within Department of Education, Ministry of Defence and Healthcare sectors with the hire of an ambitious Graduate Surveyor.
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor will be involved with learning and supporting with:
* Pricing the costing of different materials
* Assisting to prepare documents, contracts, and budgets
* Assisting with the changes to the design and adjust projections accordingly
* Procure or agree the services of contractors and subcontractors who work on the construction project
* Measure and value the work done on site
* Working with credit and paying subcontractors
* Liaising and building rapport with the clients and other construction professionals
* Assisting to Write reports on progress and quality
* Must hold a degree in Quantity surveying or a relevant qualification
* Post Grad minimum of 1 years’ experience in construction
