Our client is looking to fill a permanent Handyman job. Working in a luxury serviced apartment block based near Kilburn Park, London. Salary up to £25k, M-F 9-5.
Job Duties
The Handyman job will involve
* Perform routine and extensive preventative/reactive maintenance, and
* painting/decoration/general fixes of rooms and communal areas.
* Carry out in high standard repairs and maintenance to the building, its facilities, infrastructure, and equipment including plumbing, joinery, electrical, painting, tiling, resealing.
* Performing preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
* Undertake fundamental Health & Safety checks as required, and maintain records accordingly.
* Managing the building PPM.
* To adhere to safety regulations, company policy, and company standards.
* Daily/weekly building checklists including all public areas and all plant rooms.
* Weekly Fire alarm testing.
* Cleaning and inspecting boiler/plant machinery.
* Report all works to the Maintenance Manager.
* Dealing with guest requests daily.
* Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required
* Maintaining the landscape of the building if applicable
Job Requirements
* The ideal Handyman will have previous experience preferably in a hotel/similar residential property. Live within a short commute of location.
* Work using your own initiative and proactive ability to work under pressure.
* Be able to provide great customer service.
* Presentable appearance.
* Highly organised with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
* Keen attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
* The Handyman job may require out of office emergencies as required.
