Health and Safety Officer- main contractor



Our client is a well-established main contractor working on public and private projects in the UK and Ireland.

They are currently looking for a Health and Safety Officer to be based out of their head office in the London area. Candidate would be covering sites that they have across London and reporting back to the head office near Central London.


* Supervising and developing safety plans for residential, healthcare and commercial build projects in the London area.

* Reporting to Health and Safety Director and Project Managers on safety issues and ensuring all company safety targets are met.

* Performing toolbox talks on site with company staff

* Liaising with subcontractors on safe delivery of works packages

* Reviewing of RAMS with site management team

* Acting as main health and safety lead on 2/3 sites concurrently and travelling between them


* Degree in Health and safety or trade background

* Construction experience (3-5 years)


* Driving licence
