Having successfully recruited for other company sites, we are now recruiting for an experienced, focused, positive Health, Safety & Hygiene Advisor operating in food manufacturing based in Greenford!

Hours of work: 7-5pm Sunday – Thursday

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE

Health, Safety & Hygiene Advisor Duties:

Responsible for day-to-day on-site running of health, safety and hygiene; including but not limited to assuring health & safety management system, site inductions, site admittance and work permits, risk assessments, hazard identification, control measures  and corrective actions
The focal point and champion for HSH, working closely with the site Operations, People and Technical teams including attending and hosting necessary meetings
Promote campaigns and initiatives and ensure that appropriate focus is afforded to the wider aspirations set at a strategic level
Review the Health & Safety Management System to ensure all the necessary documentation in accordance with company policy and procedures and full compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety.
Ensure that the highest Health & Safety standards are achieved and maintained
Initiate and maintain positive and pro-active measures to raise the level of H&S awareness and performance
Participant in HACCP committees, internal and intra-site auditing teams
Health, Safety & Hygiene Advisor Requirements:

NEBOSH Certificate
Experience in carrying out risk assessments, tool box talks and training
Have 3+ years of experience in a Health and Safety focused role
Previous experience of working within the FMCG is desirable but not essential
Must be prepared to remain contactable
Ad hoc travel to other UK locations within the group will be expected 
Full UK driving license required
