Remuneration: £30,000 – £40,000 + Bonus

The role of the Internal Sales – Hardwood Timber Products will involve:
* Internal sales position selling a range of hardwood timber products into architects & specifiers, building contractors, cabinet makers, joiners & shop fitters, merchants and end users
* Supporting the sales team with reactive and proactive calls
* Generating and sending off quotations for clients
* Accessing dedicated customer bases encouraging repeat business
* Chasing new business
* Supporting the overall sales team where possible whether its internal or external support
* After 6 months there is scope to acquire your own patch and support the field sales team
* Typical order values of £1,100
* Excellent chance for progression in a growing business
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales – Hardwood Timber Products with:
* Must have a proven track record of at least 2 years in sales
* Must have sold hardwood timber based products
* Ideally an understanding of the timber manufacturing process
* Comfortable managing existing customers whilst generating new business
* Experience selling to timber manufacturers is desirable
* Advantageous if the candidate has a current customer base
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with buyers within timber manufacturers
* Must be confident
* Effective verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues
* Driven, enthusiastic, hungry with a passion for the product and company
* Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technically information
* Computer literate
