Junior Architectural Technician



Currently representing a RIBA Chartered architectural practice who are seeking a Junior Architectural Technician for there office based near Sevenoaks to work closely with Architects and Architectural Technicians to lead and co-ordinate the technical side. This position has come around due to a number of projects that the company have been awarded. It is envisaged the suitable applicant will be capable of delivering a RIBA Stage 4 package comprising of detailed design and construction drawings 1:5 and 1:20 details.

The Junior Architectural Technician who successfully secures this opportunity will join an ambitious company with talented Architectural professionals within the company. Day to day the role will involve organising, investigating and producing technical information which will be used during the development of the project design.

This role will suit a Junior Architectural Technician with the ability to assist in the delivery of stage 4 package and producing detailed design and construction drawings.

Junior Architectural Technician Position Overview

Primarily working within the Education sector.
Day to day updates on the projects status
Co-ordinate, develop and collate technical information
Prepare specifications using NBS for construction work.
Investigate manufacturers technical information and factors that affect projects, including Client requirements, site/building surveys and regulatory requirements.
Production of information necessary to submit Applications to relevant statutory authorities.
Prepare and present design proposals using our BIM authoring software ArchiCAD, training will be provided.

Junior Architectural Technician Position Requirements

Minimum 1-4 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist / Technician
Knowledge of ArchiCAD beneficial, although not essential
Experience working on large scale Education projects preferred but not essential
Living in or close to Sevenoaks, Kent or willing to relocate

Salary; (dependant on project lead experience)
