About Our Client:

They are a family owned Hertfordshire Developer who are looking to move in to a new phase of the company. They have ambitious plans to grow in the coming years so are currently building a team to deliver the vision. They have been established over 20 years and have completed multiple developments over the years predominantly in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Developments range from one off, individual houses, apartments and projects with up to 25 family dwellings. The company is not just built on professional skill sets but personalities, every employee is part of the family.

The Role:

A Land Manager is required to join the business and help them deliver the next 5 years+ business plan. At present the company source land from agents so you will be the sole person within the “land” team. The idea is, as the company grows and progresses, you will earn promotions and start to build a team around you. This role has a clear progression plan in place for the right candidate. They do not plan to hire anyone more senior than the person who secures this role. You will be sourcing land using all methods possible but you must have knowledge of the local area and covered Hertfordshire from a Land perspective previously. The role is flexible regarding working, it could be in the office or from home but you will be expected to go out and visit potential sites. The salary on offer is very flexible as they can make it bias towards commission or basic but your value must be obvious if pushing for a higher basic.

The Applicant:

You will be an established Land Manager or Senior Land Manager, buying land in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. You must be able to take the process from day one through to completion without direction.

The ideal candidate must have:

* Experience buying land in Hertfordshire

* The ability to undertake the whole process without direction

* The drive to help build the company and develop yourself at the same time.

It is desirable to have:

* Worked for a smaller developer who purchase sites up to 25 units.
