Maintenance Surveyor required to work with leading housing association maintenance division based in Glasgow.
My client one of the UK leadings housing associations requires an experience maintenance surveyor for an on going contract. Work will be based in the Toryglen, Glasgow city centre, Renfrewshire, Priesthill Area.
Work will mainly include carrying out daily repairs inspections and posyt inspection of works, along with dealing with tenant complaints.
Main duties will be:
Assist in the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, to ensure that they are kept informed of progress; identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately.
Manage external contractors to ensure maintenance work is carried out in accordance with contract specifications and programmes.
Manage budgets within agreed financial limits and in accordance with the organisations financial policies and procedures
Carry out property inspections and surveys requirements in line with policies and procedures, to ensure Health and Safety, regulatory compliance and contract performance.
Undertake pre, interim and post quality assurance inspections to works delivered by both internal teams and external contractors ensuring that a high standard is maintained at all timesThe ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous construction surveying experience
HND in building surveying or similar
Knowledge of social housing pre planned maintenance On going temp position until end of the year.
