Role Summary:

Full responsibility and full control and ownership of our LOFT depot in London. Through strategic leadership and a focused approach to customer service and operating COGS, this role adds stability and clear ownership to fortify the operation against forecasted growth. Day to day leadership and management of the whole London Ops teams.

Core Responsibilities:

* Take primary responsibility for a 25,000sq ft warehouse and distribution facility

* Manage all overheads and be accountable against a fixed operating budget, controlling COGS to ensure the depot performs in line with agreed spend

* Take full responsibility for the delivery of depot performance, in accordance with strategic group and site-specific objectives. Measure efficiency through KPI’s, including but not limited to:

* RFT (Right First Time)

* Customer complaints/ errors/ aftersales

* Pick/ pack/ load efficiency

* Returns processing

* Goods in/ supplier delivery efficiency

* Stock accuracy/ adjustments

* Transfer accuracy

* Fleet efficiency

* Lead and motivate the team, promoting a positive culture to ensure that LOFT vison/ values are understood and form part of daily life

* Assertively manage the customer journey from order placement to delivery

* monitor and support the project life cycle for all bulk installation activity, acting as escalation/ control point to facilitate an efficient process from pre-start to handover

* Develop close working relationships with all key business stakeholders/ remote support departments, to ensure the lines of communication are wide open and value add

* Allocate resource and ensure sufficient headcount is in place/ adequately trained to complete tasks effectively

* Control any overtime and manage all facets of time and attendance

* Ensure all LOFT fleet is roadworthy, checked and maintained in accordance with LOFT policy

* Ensure the depot acts in accordance with the LOFT waste management and recycling strategy, striving to achieve zero to landfill when working with appointed service providers

* Control all aspects of site security, H&S, welfare and facilities management

* Act as dedicated site liaison for the practical application of HR processes and policy, including employee engagement, training and development

* Lead and implement focused improvement projects to drive best practise, promoting Trumpers Way as the LOFT ‘Centre of Excellence’

* Prepare and submit monthly operations MI

* Ensure all company software platforms are aligned and integrated (Orderwise, RAM, Stream, Breathe, 365)

Team Management

Undertake regular 1:1s and annual appraisals and set clear KPIs, deliverables and objectives for the team

Responsible for training and induction of your team
