Planning Manager



I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and smaller independent house developer who are continuously in growth. They have new sites that are planned for 2022 and are looking to grow the business further. They currently operate within the New Forest as their head office, with sites covering across Hampshire and Dorset. They now require a planning manager to join the team on a permanent basis, looking to start from January 2022. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with the business and help elevate them to the next step in their plans.

You will be employed as a planning manager full time, working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Your day to day duties will include: working as a support to the land and planning team, advise on and achieve optimum commercially viable and timely housing planning permissions, monitoring the progress, liaise externally and internally with teams, discharge planning conditions, managing all legal documentation relating to planning and appeal process, and completing the process concerning section 106 agreements/UPS's and all other legal matters.

You must have a degree or equivalent qualification, have minimum 5-10 years’ experience in similar role within this industry, be highly organised, display superior communication skills, sound judgement, analytical skills, problem solver, proactive and comfortable working under pressure to meet demands. You need to have in-depth knowledge and strong understanding of technical and legal matters. They need somebody who is competent in chairing meetings and show a professional manner at all times.
