Are you ready to take your first steps in leadership and management? Perhaps you're working in construction and need a new challenge?

Our partner is a national concrete organisation who are searching for a new team member to run their Hereford ready mix concrete plant. They are a family owned business who develop their staff- lots of their managers started in this very role!

What's in it for me?

Upto £32k per annum

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Pension, life insurance and other opt in benefits

Constant days, Monday- Friday

So what is the job?

Concrete! Ideally you will have worked with it before in the concrete or construction industries. Perhaps you're a savvy groundworker, builder or perhaps an existing member of the concrete industry. You'll be familiar with the product, pouring it and what great service in the concrete industry might look like.

You'll be 'batching' concrete. This involves following specifications and using a computer to mix the correct aggregates. You'll need to be able to read and follow instructions and have a good eye for detail as well as reasonable IT skills. If you've ever used a front loading shovel that may also be useful.

You'll be responsible for managing customers visiting the site. Working quickly and efficiently, while also greeting them and delivering excellent customer service. Some experience interacting with people would be really helpful.

You'll be the most senior person on site, so you'll need to work autonomously. Organise your day, serve the customers, stay on top of the work. It's a small team so it requires someone reliable who can work consistently.

You'll be supported and trained by the brilliant support team around you. Ensuring you are up to speed and know where to ask for help if you need it.
