You will be expected to be maximising profits while buying materials and sub-contractors for ongoing projects. Looking for someone who can help execute strategies for delivering all related projects to the company, and to support development managers in achieving optimal designs. Job Description:
The Procurement Lead will take autonomous control and responsibility of buying materials and sub-contractors for all related projects to the company. They are seeking an individual with an exceptional set of skills and management within the construction industry. The role will focus on all construction for Brent Cross Town. Focusing on all construction works (Infrastructure, Residential, Commercial, Education, Retail and Leisure.)
Type: Permanent
Rate £120k + Package (depending on experience)
Job Responsibilities:

Set up, agree, and maintain strategic and commercial relationships with key trade contractors
Working with a design team to create a standard Company design workbook
Regularly work with the Construction Director and development managers to continually improve company works, designs and costs
Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the facility.
Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service.
Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
Review current processes for procurement and make recommendations where appropriate.Skills Required:

10+ years’ experience from a commercial background
Worked both in main contracting and trade contracting
Excellent negotiation skills
Impeccable time-management
Strategic thinking
