Package: £24,000 – £30,000 (dependent upon experience) + Bonus

Our client is one of the largest timber frame providers in the UK, having supplied timber frame kits for over 30,000 homes in the last 3 decades. Due to growth they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, diligent, professional Project Coordinator to join their Project Management team based outside Glasgow.

Job Purpose

To provide sales Project Coordination support to the Self-Build Sector, in line with the companys' customer focused strategy.

Contributing towards profitable sales and development of customer platform by managing portfolios, resolving customer queries and building effective customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

You will be required to:

Provide excellent project coordination support to the business, in particular to the sales team, including:

Managing customer portfolios
Liaising with customers via phone, website, email or in person
Building good relationships with customers to make them feel valued
Resolving customer queries and complaints using problem solving techniques
Liaising with internal colleagues in Estimating, Design and Operations and external suppliers, architects and engineers
Providing cover and support for telephone enquiries
Adopting and sharing best practices to ensure continuous improvement
Seeking feedback from customers and colleagues in order to self-developKey Measures

Excellent customer engagement – primary point of contact for customers
Manage customer portfolios and relationship building to ensure satisfactory outcomes
High standard of administration of portfoliosQualifications Required

Administrative diploma or similar or equivalent experienceKnowledge, Skills & Experience Required


Excellent customer relationship skills with the ability to develop positive customer relationships to enhance business performance
Previous experience of dealing proactively with customers
Strong communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels especially over the phone
Effective questioning and listening skills to identify customer requirements
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative, as well as being a team player
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
Flexible with ability to deal with high volumes
PC literate – Word, Excel, Outlook, databases
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Good attention to detail and results focusedDesirable
