Highfield Professional Solutions is working on behalf of a leading Global Consultancy to source a reputable Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for their Birmingham office. You will have previous highways sector experience and will join a national team to work on a variety of interesting and challenging schemes as well as demonstrating a passion for innovation and delivering solutions.

The position

As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to work within a team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects for the highways sector.

This exciting opportunity involves:

Providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery life-cycle from option studies, option development, construction tender support through to NEC or JCT contract administration.
The development and delivery of business cases.
Identifying and monitoring project risks and opportunities.
Managing stakeholders and suppliers.
Developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
Win clients through strong business development capability.Could this role be for you?

Ideally you will have a background in civil engineering design and experience of the delivery of a range of multi-disciplinary projects within highway environments. You'll be familiar with working in large, geographically dispersed multidisciplinary design teams on projects at varying stages of development from feasibility to detailed design and construction.
