To proactively take shared responsibility for all assigned projects from the stage of sales order received to final account being settled. To oversee and ensure perfect project delivery on all installations, reviewing and improving as required. To develop the skill set of our installation crews as an ongoing mission, along with recruitment of new installers to keep pace with the volume of work. You also have full responsibility for all matters of Health and Safety relating to your projects.

Conduct pre-contract meetings in conjunction with sales colleagues, negotiating details as required in line with the company strategy and direction. Checking minutes and proposed contract wordings in order to agree an outcome which is acceptable and in the company’s best interest. Ensure that all information is handed over from sales to planning dept. to allow correct project planning.

Assist with relevant surveys for projects. This is to include initial surveys, progress surveys, pre-start surveys (in conjunction with the installer crew) and service calls. Ensure that surveys are timely, accurately and adequately documented and that the relevant parties are informed of the details /notes with a typical turnaround of 48 hours from survey.

Ensure that the scope of works is always clear to the customer (with agreed pricing), via your project planning colleagues, the installation diary and the installer crew. Ensure that sufficient information is passed to your planning colleagues to enable them to formally re-quote the work as necessary. You are responsible for site discussions with the customers and their project team in order to agree costings for any changes after the sales handover, which will be handled by the project planning team.

Start-off and sign-off meetings for all designated projects, ensuring clear communication and efficient outcomes. Preparation and sign off of final account documentation with finance dept.

P&L responsibility for your allocated projects, ensuring that margins are at or above expectations and targets. Monthly review of all projects to ensure a process of continuous improvement.

Pro-active delivery of accurate and timely RAMS and COSHH assessments for all allocated projects. Continually review these processes to ensure best in class health and safety practise for all staff and installers. Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety matters on all allocated projects and training events.

Continuous development of crew quality, training and skill development. Ensure adequate site supervision of installers to deliver first class installations with a target of zero defects. Ensure snagging and repair work is carried out promptly and correctly. After sales care calls to customers to ensure that we have met or exceeded our targets and aspirations.

Update and maintain all technical documentation, manuals, drawings, checklists, handbooks and other related paperwork. Continually improve your own knowledge.

Timely and accurate sign off for all related purchase orders, invoices and other purchase ledger transactions for your allocated projects- initial checks will be made by your planning colleagues.
