An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a well established, and market leading pub company as they continue to experience substantial growth.

Client Details

You will be working for a well established pub company with a fantastic reputation in the industry. They pride themselves on their unique approach and have recently acquired another pub company under their brand which further demonstrates the positive direction the business is continuing to go in.


You will report to the property director and be responsible for delivering successful investment programmes across the South West and Wales regions. You will manage and protect the property assets through proactive management of repairs and maintenance, whilst managing contractors and suppliers to ensure value for money and quality service.

Responsibilities include:

Manage the design process and project delivery of a portfolio of community pubs across the South West and Wales.

Review the condition of all relevant sites, and implement property management strategies to improve their condition.

Build relationships with licensees to ensure a good understanding of their compliance obligations and provide assistance in meeting the requirements.

Monitor and feedback on work and customer service of contractors.

Provide property expertise and advice through regular reviews and risk assessments.

Actively manage contractors to drive performance, utilising your knowledge of the industry, and local contractors.


You will have experience in a similar position, and be able to demonstrate successful experience of managing project delivery from feasibility stage through to completion

You will of ideally worked within the leisure sector, although this is not essential.

You will be conveniently located to cover the regions.

You will have strong project management and communication skills, and be highly driven with a good understanding of Health and Safety.

You will be degree qualified, and have a positive attitude, with good listening and organisation skills.
