Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (Subject to experience)
About the Company:
Our client is a specialist Joinery and Carpentry Contractor based in Surrey, established for 45 Years, that undertake projects from manufacturing all the way through to installation. Throughout their establishment, our client has built and maintained strong relationships with a wide network of clients including some of the UK's largest Construction firms such as Sir Robert McAlpine, Kier, and Aspire, which has resulted in a continuous pipeline of projects where they’d typically have up to 15 live projects running and healthy forward order books. Projects are predominately within the commercial sector, ranging from labor only and supply and fit contracts, with values typically ranging from £100k to £2m.
About the Role:
This role represents the opportunity to work within a specialist sector. Our client is looking for someone with a solid permanent work background in Quantity Surveying.
This is an excellent opportunity for those with the desire to achieve results through hard work and who wish to participate in the future of a progressive organisation. Duties will include but not be limited to:
Preparing tender and contract documents inclusive of bespoke written scope of works
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Working closely with the Estimating Team
Work closely with the Procurement team
Price variations and submit valuations and Final Accounts
Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks
Be prepared to run multiple jobs at one time
Make site visits where necessary

Our client is open to looking at Quantity Surveyors from a sub-contractor, main contractor, or from a fit-out contractor. You must have at least 4 years’ experience with a construction company in a Quantity Surveying role with a track record of proven results.
