Who you’ll be working for:
Established for more than 50 years our client is a civil engineering specialist sub-contractor with an international reputation and projects across the world.
The people you’ll be working with:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will closely with the project managers in Scotland, and specifically across the central belt
What you’ll be asked to achieve:
You will initially manage a project in Edinburgh's city centre. The project is the repair of a key landmark in the city
In order to fulfil this you will be required to:
* Manage and build client relationships with all stakeholders
* Manage the budgets and profitability of the projects
* Prepare reports; cashflow, monthly reports, and final accounts.
* Negotiate compensation events
* Work with operations to provide commercial advice
This role would suit someone with:
* A BSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or equivalent
* Experience in managing NEC3, NEC4, and general bespoke contracts
* Experience working for a tier 2 contractor
* Civil project experience
* Good computer skills
