We have been asked to help recruit for a highly regarded brickwork company in Enfield (London). They are a no-nonsense company who have a long-standing track record of working closely with large household name building companies within the Southeast and London. They have started as a small family company and through a sensibly managed growth structure they have become what they are today and that is a success.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced, hard-working and driven estimator/quantity surveyor who doesn’t mind getting their fingers dirty. The right candidate will be ready to hit the ground running as they will be working closely with the company directors and commercial team therefore good communication skills are a must. Confidence is key as we will need you to work independently and help us win clients.
Requirements
* Must have brickwork and blockwork experience
* Make site visits ahead of tenders and pre-order meetings
* Pursuing submitted tenders
* Producing material procurement schedules
* Reviewing subcontract orders in readiness for director sign off
* Win bids
