Regional Sales Representative – Construction

Purpose of Role

To develop and grow our existing customer base and sales in the sectors of Construction, FM, and Manufacturers to meet budgeted levels of profitability, revenue and growth whilst delivering excellent customer satisfaction. In addition, develop a new business strategy targeting sustainable volume.

Responsibilities

Identify, approach and develop new customers in your region
Develop Regional and National agreements with key customers
Maintain and develop existing and new regional customers to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
Respond to and follow up technical sales enquiries
Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales.
Monitor competitor and industry activity
Monitor, measure and report on sales/customer using CRM
Present the companies reporting systems 'Visibility' to customers ensuring complete transparency of all repair activity, workflow and land fill cost savings.
Work closely with Operations to effectively deal with and resolve complaints and ensure SLA's and quality are maintained to the highest level.
Work closely with Credit Control team to ensure the company's cash collection targets are met.
Work closely with Marketing to promote industry intelligence, produce customer case studies and secure customer testimonials.
Proactively encourage a local sales culture, working closely with Operations to identify new opportunities and develop existing and new customers.
Contribute to the development of sales and customer strategy.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary, to aid business development.
Identify areas of potential added value and cost reduction and develop them.
Represent the company at trade shows and events.
Use Management Information to drive Continuous Improvement.
Promote company culture, standards and procedures and ensure all are met.

Experience within the property, construction, manufacturing industry is ideal
Commercial understanding – customers and pricing
Basic understanding of financial reports
Good general education
Computer skills (Microsoft Office)Person profile (indicators)
