My client are an award-winning developer, offering high spec residential accommodation. They currently have a requirement for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their Design & Technical team.

The company was launched in 2009 and sits within an established Group with over 30 years of development experience. The company specialize in the retirement market offering integrated living communities in desirable locations.

Senior Architectural Technician

You will be a proactive, self-motivated individual with ability as a key member of the team to work in close collaboration with our in-house Land, Planning, Architectural and Civil/Structural Engineering teams.

Working closely with the Design Manager your key accountabilities will include:

" Progressing the technical design from the approved planning stage, through to production information for tender and construction stages e.g. RIBA stages 4-6
" Provide full working drawings
" Lead design coordination with our in-house team and external supply chain
" Provide information in strict accordance with the design, procurement, and construction programmes
" Liaise with site, providing technical support when required
" Mentor and support Junior Technologists to ensure their continual professional development

Skills and experience required:

" Experienced Senior Technician (MCIAT desirable) with circa minimum 5 years UK experience
" Excellent working knowledge of using Revit software
" Up-to-date knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC standards
" A strong technical ability and commercial awareness
" Excellent IT skills, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
" Superb organisational and time management skills
" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
" Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst using own initiative to work independently
