Fawkes and currently assingting a growing and ambitious young (main contracting) business based in Central with their search for an established Senior Business Development Manager to assist them with both their short and long-term plans for continued growth in the London Market.
The business specialises in delivering Residential, Education, Healthcare and Commerical Projects in the Central London Area – Projects valued up to £40m at the time of writing (construction/new build).
Attend Strategic Customer Management (SCM) meetings, ensuring business unit directors are supported in the content and development of relevant SCM plans
Maintain up to date knowledge, sources and understanding of the market and keep business unit advised of relevant information
Manage and organise PR & promotional activity including network events in accordance with the Marketing Plan and SCM plan. Provide support to pre qualification documentation
Support the customer satisfaction and feedback process incorporating the implementation of action plans.
Our client are looking for a knowledgeable and focused business development lead with previous management experience within the construction industry and a good understanding of the London Market is essential.
To be successful in the role you will have the ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels and across all platforms, particularly during meetings and presentations, as well as be confident negotiator.
The role will report to the Pre Construction Director and salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a stable employment history and have a proven track record of working as a Senior Business Development Manager in the London construction market, generating leads and opportunities within the sectors listed – successful candidates will be contacted within 48 hours.
