Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer – RC Frames & Groundworks (x3)
£230 to £250 per day
Projects: Liverpool Street, Poplar and Croydon
About the Requirements:
If you are interested in applying for any of these Site Engineer or Senior Engineer positions, there are a few requirements you will need to check first (I’m sorry, I don’t make the rules).
To be successful all applicants must:
1. have worked for rival reinforced concrete frame subcontractors in the UK.
2. be qualified in civil engineering or structural engineering and have a minimum of 4 years on site, setting out experience while with RC frame subcontractors.
3. Be prepared to carry out setting out duties. While some of the options may involve senior engineer duties, all will also involve setting out.
4. have stable careers that reflect your commitment to stick with individual employers. While this last point isn’t always easy to measure, in short, my client does not want to consider people who have moved jobs every 6 to 12 months. I believe they have made this point as they only want to consider people who they can have confidence in sticking around. These are long term roles and not just for the initial yearlong projects, but for future projects also. So, I need people who stick with individual companies and would make this move for a long-term opportunity.

About the Benefits:
Day or hourly rates will be agreed with every individual on a case by case basis depending on how much experience (in the right areas) you have. But as a rough guideline I am targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £230 to £250 per day.
The main driving point for wanting one of these roles should be the long-term employment. This isn’t just a recruitment drive for one scheme. This business has specifically sat down and looked at resources that they want to develop and retain for the years to come and these roles have been released following that.
