The Leeds office has long been home to one of the most talented M&E divisions in the company, circa 30 M&E staff and in total close to 50 when incorporating energy, sustainability, fire engineering, security and other niche specialists. Traditionally the Leeds office has long held close links to health care, custodial and education amongst others, with data centre and critical infrastructure a rapidly growing sector.

With constant growth and expansion opportunities available, the appointment of a Senior Mechanical Engineer is now viewed a key hire. Whilst a Chartered or near Chartered Engineer would be desirable, experience and in particular detailed design experience (stage 4 & 5) provides the most essential criteria. Client facing, intelligent flexible approach to work, effective communicator and the ability to produce high quality design whilst working to realistic deadlines, is also positions towards the top of the person spec.

Applications are invited from seasoned deliverers of HVAC design projects in line with the key sectors mentioned above. Experience of running complex schemes and running/attending progress meetings is integral, encouraging collaboration both internally and externally whilst also reassuring all customers their projects are in safe hands.

Finally, a strong commercial awareness will also be needed, understanding the unique challenges the industry faces and ensuring a cost effective result every time.
