Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help deliver a new, modern hotel and pub brand across the UK. The Group needs a Senior Project Manager who can help them to partner with licensees, publicans and entrepreneurs to support the recovery of the sector and will look to acquire retail and tenanted pubs across the UK but with a focus in the east, south east, and south of the UK. The Senior Project Manager will be required to travel to sites weekly to ensure a smooth delivery of all project with the option to work from home.
  
The Senior Project Manager will be working in conjunction with the sub contractors and external professional teams. An experience Project Manager who is able to bring people together and should be personable, articulate with good multi-tasking skills. A background in construction and a suitable Degree such as Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Management, Engineering or similar is preferred but others shall be considered.
  
You will also need sound administration and IT skills and be commercially astute, understanding the importance of working to deadlines within an overall investment strategy to ensure projects are delivered to the required specification.

Senior Project Manager:

Develop and analyse specifications, drawings and project information for compliance with client brief, project design specification and brand standards
Lead and manage the external consultant team (Project Manager, QS, Architect, Engineer, M&E, Procurement) and main contractor
Oversee the tender process (carried out by external QS)
Look for ways to value engineer the specification to balance cost and quality to obtain the best value for the client
Attend site meetings and take comprehensive notes and project progress photos on the client’s behalf
Assist in the creation of regular reports and preparing periodic project progress reports for the Board
Manage and control costs to maintain the budget. Monitoring the financial reporting to the Board and preparing project expenditure reports.
Visit site to check progress against programme and assess quality of works and adherence with the project specification
Manage Health & Safety requirements including monitoring site standards
Create various project monitoring trackers, registers and other tools as required
Create hard and soft-copy filing systems, ensuring all project information is accessible and easy to find, kept up to date
Liaise with Building Control
Oversee external procurement consultant who will be ordering FF&E
Supervise installation and arrangement of FF&E
Keep up to date with any policy and legislation changes including building regulations changes and other regulatory issues
Support the company with establishing and developing the project management processes and procedures
