Our client is highly successful, family-owned developer who have been going since the 1980’s. The Company focuses on developing brownfield sites into residential developments, providing real homes for real people. Their portfolio of diverse projects includes large scale residential schemes of new build apartments and houses, hotels, restoration and refurbishment of historical buildings often listed by English Heritage and other mixed-use schemes.
The company have an estimated 485 employees which is rising every year as the company grows, they have reported a 10% grow per year, developing small to large schemes up to 1300 units.
Due to rapid growth and a number of new projects in the pipeline, they require an Intermediate/Senior Surveyor who can hit the ground running. You will be working on a unique Grade 2 listed Military building which is in the process of being refurbished into 140 units. The estimated time left on this project is around 2.5 years.
You will either need to be based in Surrey and able to commute to Essex one day per week or vice versa.
Required Skills & Experience:
Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience of managing large corporate expectations through the commercial process and must have worked on a similar scheme(s). Bsc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (Desirable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of analytical skills, Excellent numeracy skills, Good negotiating skills, Strong project co-ordination skills Computer literate Full UK Driving Licence (willingness to travel to variable site locations) CSCS Card
