About the Employer:
Having been established for over 30 years with in the specialist field of concrete frames and groundworks, this business is without doubt one of the leading names with in this field (literally top 5 name). Current turnover is over £150m per annum and this has progressed steadily year on year going back over the last decade. They currently complete packages ranging in value from £5m up to £60m each on a mixture of residential, commercial, educational and leisure projects throughout the London and surrounding areas.
This business prides themselves on their high repeat business rate and their in-house capability to take complex projects from design through to completion. They are family owned and still maintain the family feel they have had over the last 10+ years I have known them, which is important, because not all do as they grow. I would highly recommend this business as a polished environment where individuals can grow and flourish working on some of the best projects in London and it is worth pointing out, I have never had anyone leave this business that I have placed there.
About the Opportunity:
I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor for a Concrete Frame and Groundwork subcontractor based in the South East.

If successful you will report to the company’s commercial director and will be responsible for either one large package (i.e. RC frame & groundwork value around £20 million or above) or a group of projects (usually around 2 to 5 at any one time) in or around London.
Individual package values could range from £5 million (smallest) up to £60 million each.
About the Requirements:
The requirements for this role are fairly straight forward;
We can only consider individuals who have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for either Groundwork or Concrete Frame subcontractors in the UK. Our client only wants to consider individuals from a rival company background.
And due to the technical nature of this role, it is also crucial that all applicants are degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

How to Apply:
I am more than happy to discuss this opportunity with people over the phone or face to face in a fully confidential manner. This is an incestuous sector and I fully understand the importance of keeping things discrete.
Alternatively, it would be ideal to see a copy of your CV to understand your previous experience and employment. In line with GDPR, nothing will be done with your CV / details until we have discussed the role in detail anyway, but having gained an understanding of your formal past, this may help when we come to talk and discuss the option.
