This is a wonderful opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Consultant to join the talented and growing national Environment and Consents team of a world-leading, multidisciplinary consultancy, with an enviable track record of delivering a wide range of cutting-edge energy transition projects, as well as an interesting portfolio of more traditional infrastructure schemes. This Senior Consultant role, working from the company's supportive and dynamic Bristol office, offers the exciting challenge of managing and delivering the planning and environmental inputs to a variety of projects for a wide client base, including projects to be consented under the Planning Act 2008 in low carbon and hydrogen, energy generation and transmission, minerals, waste and transport. The team can proudly say that their projects make a real world difference, delivering innovative sustainable solutions across renewables, recycling, education, defence, industrial and commercial. In order to be considered for this Senior Consultant position, you will:

Have a degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or relevant environmental discipline.
Have membership of the RTPI (or other relevant organisation such as IEMA).
Have more than 5 years' experience of working in the UK.
Have a full driver's licence.
Be passionate about delivering effective planning and environmental advice to positively shape the performance of major infrastructure projects.Working as a Senior Consultant you will:

Work as part of multidisciplinary teams to deliver inputs across a variety of projects, from their early strategy development, through to feasibility, to detailed design and assessment.
Provide clients with the appropriate technical and consenting advice for their projects.
Liaise with wider project stakeholders, including the client's engineering team, consultation leads and lawyers.
Author supporting documents for pre-application, planning applications and EIA deliverables.Our client is offering a generous salary, full benefits package, and exciting opportunities for career development.
