Service Technician Windows & Doors – 45K-50K OTE + Van (Co. Roscommon)

One of Ireland's leading Commercial and Residential Window & Door companies is seeking a Service Technician for post installation quality checking and post install snagging works. The ideal candidate will have similar experience on high end windows and sliding doors and be flexible to travel to sites based in the greater Galway and Connaught areas.

The Package:

* Base salary circa 38K + company van and expenses

* Bonus structure for timely works and quality standards which would bring the overall package to between 45K-50K OTE annually

The Service Technician:

* Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, can deal with customer / home owners in a friendly and professional manner

* Organised and detail orientated with good preparation skills and forethought

* Technically skilled, experienced in post install checks and snag work with a solid background in Window installation – minimum 3 years

* Good IT skills, experience updating company systems and works completed and progress

* Trustworthy and punctual

The Role:

* Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

* Liaise with office staff on all site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks/issues

* Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions

* Carrying out solutions on first visit whenever possible

* Supply office with comprehensive reporting on site conditions, Access, and items required for fixes and work performed within 24 hours of site visit

* Properly update and maintain all reporting in company apps or software

* Document processes

* Operate and maintain the vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems

* Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols

* Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation

* Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

* Build positive relationships with customers

* Ensure you service vehicle is adequately stocked with ALL standards items and tools to be able to complete tasks on first call

* Ensure you have been supplied with all adequate paperwork to pre-diagnose any issues that have occurred on site, Including the PIE contract and photography if available

* Review ALL paperwork pre-visit to make sure adequate items are carried to complete service call

* Responsible for keeping their vehicle clean and presentable

* Responsible for wearing and maintaining suitable and appropriate attire
