SHEQ Advisor – Utilities / Project Management

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

My client is a well-respected, growing project management business, specialising in utilities, operating in Kent, and the wider South East. Due to this exciting growth, they are looking to recruit a SHEQ Advisor to join the business to ensure compliance for both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting into the Senior Management team, the SHEQ Advisor will assist in issues relating to the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality of the project delivery operations, embedding standards and compliance within for their clients.

Main Responsibilities:
• Development of SHEQ management systems
• Desk-based process and field-based activity audits
• Subject matter expert for internal departments
• Be part of the team, an effective team player
• Review RAMS
• Host HSE committee meetings
• Toolbox talks
• Accident Investigation

Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:
• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
• Experience in a SHEQ Advisor role within a project management, utilities, civils environment.
• Proven track record of conducting site Inspections and Investigations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent knowledge of H&S legislation
• Good experience in the industry
