Showroom Manager & Senior Kitchen Design Consultant
Reporting to: Managing Director
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to….
-take ownership and responsibility for delivering excellent customer service and showroom (personal and team) sales targets on a quarterly basis.
-manage all onsite showroom mployees and support their development and training and ensure each member of the team conforms to expectations in the execution and delivery of their duties.
-undertake regular team and individual reviews and annual performance appraisals.

-be vigilant and engage positively with all store customers at every given opportunity in order to discuss our kitchen service and identify sales opportunities, or point HBH customers in the right direction to find help.
-question and listen to customers’ needs and requirements in order to help design an exciting and appropriate kitchen solution.
-capture and record relevant information to ensure customers do not have to repeat themselves and to enable Kettle to identify trends and common requirements.
-undertake home visits to measure the kitchen area and consult on design preferences in order to understand the full scope of requirements and generate appropriate design concepts.
-wow our customers through designing practical and visually stunning kitchens.
-accurately, scope, cost and price kitchens for submission to customers.
-negotiate and close sales, invoice and receive deposits.
-Organize and attend site surveys with fitters to review kitchen designs and plans and confirm all details are correct.
-check and place purchase orders for all kitchen elements for agreed delivery dates.
-provide full specification/handover packs to project manager.
-ensure all touch points with customers reinforce our values, quality, service levels and expertise.
-ensure all relevant data is captured through out the process from enquiry to sale.

The candidate will be required to..
-demonstrate knowledge of performance management, objective setting and review.
-demonstrate their ability to coach, develop and manage performance issues with employees.
-know and be familiar with EQ Software and all key Microsoft applications, Word, Excel etc.
-possess an appreciation of the technical issues associated with kitchen fitting
The successful candidate will be developed and trained to..
-know the Kistory, company capabilities/people and back catalog of customers/designs/projects etc.
-be familiar with HBH Woollcott’s products and understand the relationship with them
-understand kettle processes, systems, approach, methodology and ethos (company standards and expectations, response times, showroom management etc.)
