Reporting to the Procurement Director, the role of Supply Chain Auditor is to mitigate supply-chain risk through the delivery of high quality and cost effective HSEQ audits.

Working with the supply chain of our core sectors: Water & Process, Energy and Oil & Gas, you will audit to industry-specific protocols covering a combination of Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and CSR/Sustainability management systems.

This role will also encompass the auditing of compliance to the Company’s commercial procedures that cover the commercial analysis of, orders to and general management of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Create an annual Supply Chain Audit Plan / Programme based on the priorities advised by and agreed with the Procurement Director

Revise the Supply Chain Audit Plan to accommodate urgent requests from the procurement Director arising from changes in demand from the Company’s clients that arise throughout each year

Create an Internal Commercial Compliance Audit Plan / Programme based on priorities advised by the and agreed with the Procurement Director.

Pre audit preparation to community requirements including planning pre audit arrangements with Customers

Ensure all audits are carried out in line with relevant industry and Company standards

Prepare detailed audit reports which are accurate, grammatically correct, and provide evidence and justification of findings

Contribute to the ongoing development of the Audit Plan, while ensuring that they conform to the framework of corporate standards and procedures

Provide constructive feedback to the Procurement Director

Maintain and develop own technical competencies, skills, and knowledge of Company procedures for audit activities.

Qualifications / Experience

Full driving licence

ISO9001 QMS certified Auditor

Lead Auditor via examination (IRCA or equivalent) is preferable

Experience in vendor/ supplier audits is a must.
