We're searching for a Technical Sales Manager (Architectural) to join our client, a Building Material Manufacturer, on their path to creating a more sustainable Built Environment.

You'll need to be a passionate, environmentally aware building industry professional that shares a desire to improve product choices at the point of specification.

You might be an architect who is frustrated with working on a small number of projects and wants to reach out to a larger audience about how you can enhance design choices for the environment!

As the new Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for working alongside Architects, Specifiers and Designers to assist them with the specifications of products, with emphasis on the sustainable ranges.

The role will involve offering technical advice and guidance on the products through direct meetings, via Teams/Zoom and by delivering CPD presentations on the systems.

You will be the 1st part of the expansion of the UK Business Development Team and will have support from internal staff with regards to CAD, performance calculations and NBS type specification writing.

This position is remote, however access to Central London is required.

What you'll need

The preferred candidate should be from an architectural/technical background but with an interest in sustainable construction.
An understanding of embodied carbon, LCA's
An understanding of timber technology including CLT, SIP's as well as timber frame (desirable)

On offer is a salary in the region of £40,000 + Bonus + Company Car Allowance + Mobile + Laptop
