Technical Service Manager



Chase Taylor are working with an established, well respected fenestration company who design and manufacture a wide range of aluminium windows, doors and curtain wall systems suitable for commercial and residential projects.

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Service Manager to join their team

This role will suit someone who has a technical background such as a drawing/design office within the façade/construction sector and has previous experience of managing a team. It is essential you possess CAD software 2D skills as a minimum but it would be advantageous to also have experience with Revit, CAD 3D and an industry specific software called Logikal.

This role is defined as Technical Services however a close relationship with the Manufacturing and Estimating departments are key thus providing a professional approach to all elements of the department.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Technical Services Department with specific emphasis on technical support for the company and to its customers. This role involves the management of a team of 3 staff members where you will have responsibility of regular staff reviews, training and personal development.

You will deliver excellent technical support to customers, prospects, partners and colleagues, prepare project specific data, drawings, schedules and calculations to assist the securing of new work and attend site meeting and customers where necessary.

You will report to the Director of Technical Services on a regular basis on the status of department workload. This involves KPI measurement reporting.
